As limitless online world are for their residents compared to real life, virtual reality presents many glitches and artefacts that are surreal when experienced. Here, a group of residents lag out and fall apart from internet lag. Residents of the virtual world Second Life are given an opportunity to live out a parallel life online. A life in a world where you can overcome your first life's limitations and reimagine a completely different reality for yourself and what surrounds you. The photo-book Second Lives documents the myriad of personalities, environments, and pass-times in a world where creativity is the only limiting factor.
