Work Boots
$125.00 AUD
Collective Edition of 1.

Work boots are hung up on a mulga tree in the mine site village in the northern Goldfields. There are spaces between the camp rooms with native bushland for these "blue-collar ornaments".

Aditia Langdon is an Indonesian-Australian who has spent extensive time in the northern Goldfields of Western Australia in 2022 documenting the expansive red desert and mulga bushland. The landscape tells a diverse story of mining, pasture, and the aboriginal peoples who lived in the desert country for thousands of years.

The artist recognises and acknowledges the traditional owners of the land as the Mantjintjarra people. It was an honour to listen and yarn about Country with members and Elders of the Mulga Queen community while on heritage surveys.
