Statement

The feeling of delirium after driving for hours on end. On our way to visit friends and family in Broome. Three boys on a road trip together, swapping drivers every few hours, chicken tenders and coffee chills at each roadhouse. The sun beating down upon the road throughout the ever-changing landscape.

Duncan Wright is a photographer, multimedia artist and studio manger of West End Workers Studio in Fremantle, WA. While he works commercially and on commission, Duncan likes to blur the boundaries between art and the commercial photographic world. Duncan's artistic practice is often based around notions of community, the Australian dream and his own middle class up-bringing.
