Statement
This image is part of an ongoing series which explores the female body - and the pain and pleasure that often comes with being a women. In the process Olivia’s explores her own relationship with her body and coalesces and connects with women to portray positivity surrounding women and their inherent qualities.
Olivia Senior is a West Australian based photographer, artist and journalist. She completed a Bachelor in Arts, Major in Journalism at Curtin University which was shortly followed by joining Perth’s freelancing community writing stories and taking photos. Just after the pandemic hit she was lucky enough to score stability at Seven West Media as a full-time journalist, where she now works part-time allowing her to pursue her personal and creative interests in photography, art and story-telling from West End Workers in Fremantle. She is best known for her portrait work and she enjoys finding the beauty in the banal.
