You never know where an adventure will take you and what you may come across that is the greatest prize. A giant bull on top of a pubs roof sure don't be telling me no bull****. Artist Clinton looks to be a story teller capturing moments to let people into his world off photography.
Clinton Price is a Perth WA based artist living and working in Kelmscott nestled at the bottom of the foothills he predominantly works with photographic mediums. Clinton holds Certificates in Visual Arts from the North Metropolitan TAFE though was first introduced too art as a healing tool at Creative Expressions Centre for Art Therapy (CECAT). Finding solace in the healing of art Clinton found a passion and took up studies to further his skill base and become a practising artist.
A principal theme in Clinton’s current work is experimental looking to both digital and analogue forms of photography. He finds interest in the subject matter of the non place, coined by the French anthropologist Marc Auge to refer to anthropological spaces of transience where human beings remain anonymous.
Previously, Clinton’s style of work was shaped around the mediums of printmaking with inspiration taken from modern and contemporary artists. He is excited by the new direction of photographic mediums, looking to explore cyanotype negative printing and looks forward to the future.
