Milkshake is a dance festival that shows that entertainment, taste in music, choice of clothing and status has nothing to do with sexuality. The series of photographs are iconic images that capture and celebrate the city of Amsterdam’s initiatives to promote great diversity of skin colour, religions, sexual preference, male and female forms.
These photographs showcase the performers, the crème de la crème of Europe’s festival scene, that have converged into one place in one breathe-taking weekend that is utterly timeless. The performers take us on a journey into an alternate reality where the past, present, and future meet, and there are no limitations personal expression.
