Statement
Maria Maraltadj is a Kwini woman from Kalumburu Community. She discovered photography during her final years of school and joined the Kalumburu Photography Collective as part of the Big Picture Education program in 2017. Maria draws inspiration from her surrounding landscape, capturing elements that represent her and her culture.
