Artist Bio
Jodie owned her first camera at 10 and took photos as a child on holidays. As she reflects, she was always interested in composition, and her photos were rarely just snap shots of the family. She briefly did photography in Art classes at school, and was told she had a ‘good eye’, which meant nothing to her at the time.
Since then her passion has grown and her style has been described as eclectic. Jodie prefers to take a shot and then let the photograph/artwork emerge from it. She has traveled to many places around the world but still finds pleasure and interest in taking pictures of her home town.
She has been lucky enough to have been invited to exhibit some of her work with a friend, and international award winning watercolour artist, a number of times over the last five years, with the result of selling many pieces of her work
Jodie indicated she has always enjoy exhibiting in the Collective exhibition and is pleased to say her work has always been selected by patrons.
