Statement
The reflective windscreen cover is a fixture of hot Australian summers, reliably seen glinting in the sun in rows of cars parked by the beach — protecting vehicles from the heat while their sand-combing owners bake themselves nearby. Here, the aluminium glints in the window of an old Volvo with sheepskin seat covers, at once tugging on our nostalgia for carefree summers and reminding us of the increasingly precarious environment in which we live.
