Sherry Paddon combines photography with sculpture and installation. She is inspired by found objects, the sense of belonging to possessions and its effect on self-image and status. Through found objects, she explores themes such as memory, cultural heritage and overconsumption. She elevates common objects to become reminders of the commercialised reality.
Sherry Paddon is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Perth, Western Australia. She grew up in country WA in the South Hedland area (Ngarda Ngarli Yarndu) and Mid West (Yamaji Country).
