Natalie Blom was born and grew up on Njaki Njaki country, in the Wheatbelt town of Merredin. She graduated from the Central Institute of Technology in 2010 with an Advanced Diploma of Photography. Her work has been exhibited, locally, nationally and internationally. Her first solo exhibition The Shattered Horizon was included in Head On Photographic Festival in 2013.
Working in photomedia and utilising both digital and analogue processes, Natalie is particularly interested in creating context specific projects. Using her experiences in zine making and self publishing, Natalie is continuing to develop presentation formats both inside and outside of the traditional gallery context.
