Perth based photographer, Erica Watkin is an advanced diploma graduate in photography from Central TAFE (2014) and has attended a semester at ECU where she completed a unit in landscape photography. Her work was originally influenced by street photography but as of the last few years she has come to focus on minimalism and architecture photography. Her work is driven by texture, colour, shape, light and repetitive lines. Focusing on certain aspects of the objects and uses natural light to her advantage. Using her iPhone she’s creates a whole new version of a landscape and objects that surrounds her.
