Statement
My work comes from a psychogeographic impulse to drift, either walking or riding as a way of discovering place. It reflects how people really use public space and the built environment. Magic happens.
Scott Burton is a photographer based in Boorloo (Perth) Western Australia. His practice sits somewhere between street photography and architectural photography, and documents Western Australian urban sprawl. His work has been exhibited at the Lawrence Wilson Gallery, and has been favourably reviewed in national arts publications such as Artlink. He runs the photography Instagram account @scobierobie.
