Self Portrait
$600.00 AUD
Edition of 3

This image is a representation of myself throughout the struggles of multiple lockdowns in 2020. The contents of my bedside drawer are symbolic of ongoing mental health challenges and a direct self-portrait over time. I hope by showing this work it will enable a dialogue with the viewer from a different perspective.

I am an artist and filmmaker living and working in Melbourne, Australia. I have a fascination for man-altered landscapes, predominantly the way nature is altered through industry. I aim to observe, document and ultimately understand why we cultivate our environments in the way that we do. My practice explores and documents a variety of infrastructures, systems, people and processes that help to support the spectrum of industry and life. With this in mind, I hope to give my audience the opportunity to evaluate the landscape from a different perspective.
