‘The Hunt - Part 1’ Tracks stretch across the landscape as far as the eye can see in a seemingly otherworldly scene captured on the periphery of one of the largest salt pans in the West Australian goldfields. The scars criss-crossing the landscape bear witness to the relentless hunt for treasure which has been ongoing in this area since 1894.
Chad Peacock is a West Australian visual artist born and raised in the Perth Hills, working primarily with the mediums of video and photography.

Chad’s infatuation with balance and symmetry is clear in his current limited edition print photography project which will culminate in 150 limited edition prints and a publication. He is also 10 months into a 12 month project entitled ‘SIGHT UNSEEN’ which will see the subtle transformation of a small wheatbelt salt lake over the course of a year.
