Under The Bridge
$165.00 AUD
Collective Edition of 1.

Statement

Under The bridge is an Ambrotype plate created using an antique camera from the early 1900's, with a homemade portable darkroom made from an old camping fold out work station, black out material, and red LED lights.

Kristian is a photographer based out of Cervantes WA, who works in the medium of wet plate collodion photography. He mostly takes landscape photography, but also has started to experiment with portraiture work.
Originally from Wales UK, and relocated to Western Australia a year ago, Kristian has a fascination with the black and white photography that the wet plate images create, mixed with the varying stark landscapes that WA has to offer.
Experimentation is a big part of Kristian's practice, who alongside his wife Hannah who is a stained glass artist, work together to experiment with different coloured glass plates, chemical mixtures, and other elements that can cross over between both practices to give different and interesting results.
