Statement
Lisa Stonham’s Artworks capture the temporary, the ephemeral, the momentary through the immovable, and constant landscapes of the man-made. Documenting the ever evolving relationship between light and time in the context of architectural space, to produce sensory and evocative photographs.
Lisa has been a finalist in numerous art prizes and awards including, the Sunshine Coast Art Prize, Fisher’s Ghost Award, Blake Prize, KAAF Art prize, Iris Award, Hurford Portrait Prize, CLIP Award, Head-On Mobile Award and the Ravenswood Women’s Art Prize.
Lisa’s work has been exhibited at, the Australian Centre for Photography, the Campbelltown Arts Centre, the Perth Centre for Photography, the Korean Cultural Centre, Caloundra Regional Gallery (QLD), Lismore regional Gallery (NSW) and the Centre for Contemporary Photography. She has also exhibited at the Dank Street Depot Gallery and has upcoming shows at 107 Projects (2021 Head-On Photo Festival), and M16 Artspace (Canberra) in 2022.
