Clinton Price (Perth, 1983) practicing photographer with a portfolio of works looking into spaces of transience (non-place). Finding inspiration from a broad range of historical and contemporary artists, his work examines and explores the identity of places we live in. The urban environment is an ongoing influence with his art practice. Price declares himself as a lifelong learner and has a broad range of educational experiences from Creative Expression Centre for Art Therapy (CECAT) and studies at North Metropolitan TAFE Campus where he is received certificates in Visual Arts.
Clinton has been shortlisted and exhibited in several Western Australian Art Awards. Furthermore he's been awarded Open Winner for the Subiaco Photographic Award 2019, Subiaco Category and the 2021 City of Canning Art Awards, Bankwest Adult Photography Category. He lives by his moto “I can truly say that Art has allowed me to breathe. It’s an outlet for ideas and inspiration, so that one may continue into a new day.” C Price.
